Welcome to YachtFast. This site will document how to begin to use racing software on a yacht. The site is designed for amateur sailors who want to use modern technology to get the best out of their boats around a race course.

This initial setup is on a Sydney 36, being club raced on Sydney harbour. The boat is fitted with Nexus NX2 instruments, centrally linked to the Nexus FDX "server". I'm using a standard Lenovo PC notebook, running Expedition.

The two videos below show the outputs from our first race with the software monitoring the boat, and recording a log file. We have not started using the software during the race at this stage.
